Yá'át'ééh, my name is Michelle Silverhorn, and I am Diné (Navajo), originally from Arizona. I enjoy interpreting the everyday lives of historic people. As a 4th-grade S.S./Science teacher, I am dedicated to helping my students learn and grow and constantly seeking new ways to engage and inspire them.
Hito! My name is Skepi'ya (Maple Sugar in Shawnee) Silverhorn. I am a 3-year-old North American Dingo, or Carolina Dog, learning to interpret and help teach people about Shawnee history and daily life. My ancestors used to help with hunting, keeping the village safe, and keeping people company. My favorite things are going on adventures and getting my belly scratched!
Hiteto! My name is Talon Silverhorn, and I am proud to be from the Eastern Shawnee Tribe. I have worked in museums, cultural preservation, and historical interpretation my entire working life. I believe this is a fantastic way to reach people and make connections memorably and engagingly.
